THE MEANING OF JM
The name JM carries both our respect for skills passed down in Japan and our belief in the happiness created by meaningful journeys and memories. Preserving the value of objects and moments is where our story begins.
CRAFT / QUALITY / CONTINUITY
Wisdom made for lasting use. Craftsmanship that refuses to overlook the smallest detail. Beauty that continues to inspire across generations. Beginning with cameras, we recognise objects that embody Japanese technique and the spirit of making, communicate their value honestly, and place them in the hands of their next owner.
JOURNEY / MEMORY / HAPPINESS
A view discovered while travelling, time shared with someone, a moment held in a photograph. Memories enrich our lives more deeply with time. Through welcoming places to stay and stories that reveal beauty in everyday life, we create the beginnings of journeys that remain in the heart.
ONE NAME, ONE VISION
To pass exceptional objects into the future. To support the moments in which new memories are made. Japanese Masterpiece and Journey of Memory form one philosophy that connects the past with what comes next.
OUR EXPRESSION
Japanese cameras shaped by skill and aesthetic sensitivity, passed to their next owners around the world.
